These terms are an agreement between you and TackleOS (“TackleOS”, “we”, “us”) for using the TackleOS farm-management software at tackleos.app. TackleOS is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Arizona. If you use TackleOS for a farm or business, you agree to these terms on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so. If you don't agree, don't use TackleOS.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details private and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
- The farm owner controls who is invited to the farm and what role each person has, and is responsible for their use of TackleOS.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
Your data
Your farm's records belong to you. You give us permission to store, process, and display them only as needed to provide TackleOS to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the records you enter — that they're accurate and that you have the right to put them in TackleOS. A farm owner can request an export of the farm's data at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use TackleOS to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- try to access another farm's records or any part of the service you aren't permitted to;
- interfere with, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; or
- upload malware or content you don't have the right to share.
AI features
Some features use AI to answer questions, read receipts and documents, and draft records. AI output can be wrong. Review what it produces before relying on it — TackleOS shows drafts for you to confirm before anything is saved. TackleOS is a record-keeping tool; it does not give veterinary, legal, tax, or financial advice. Decisions about your horses' care, including deworming and vaccination, should be made with your veterinarian.
Connected services
If you connect a third-party service such as QuickBooks Online, your use of that service is governed by its own terms. You can disconnect at any time. We aren't responsible for third-party services, and you remain responsible for reviewing the records TackleOS sends to them.
Plans, payment, and cancellation
Fees and billing terms are as agreed for your farm's plan. Paid add-ons are enabled per farm. A farm owner can cancel at any time by contacting us; access continues through the end of the paid period. We may suspend an account that is past due or that violates these terms, and will try to give notice first where we reasonably can.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TackleOS available and secure, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change, or retire features. Keep your own copies of records you're required to retain.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TackleOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to TackleOS is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using TackleOS at any time. We may end or suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. When a farm's account ends, the farm owner can request an export of its data within 30 days, after which we may delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify farm owners before they take effect. Continuing to use TackleOS after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, wherever you or your farm are located. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the laws of your own state that can't be waived by agreement.
